Dr. Robert L. Delarosa is the founding partner of Associates in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American College of Dentists. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where he received the ASDC Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award in pediatric dentistry. He completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, serving as senior chief resident.
He has lectured extensively to many organizations and groups, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and (g)nathos. He is a published author and was the chair of the Council on Clinical Affairs of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He has served in leadership roles in numerous dental professional organizations at the state, regional and national levels. He has also served as president of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association. He holds membership in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatrics, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Louisiana Dental Association and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association.
He has also served on the boards of several professional and business organizations, and remains active in the community. His family is also actively involved with the Progeria Research Foundation. A native of New Orleans, he is the married father of twins, and enjoys traveling with his family for golf and diving.
