The focus of my research is to how to improve oral health for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). I have completed a survey study to identify the challenges in establishing oral health among this population, and presented the results at the American Association for Dental Research Annual Meeting in March 2016. I have also spoke about oral health issues in individuals with ASD and how to work with them through inter-professional approaches at meetings and study clubs.
