I will be submitting one of my lectures I use for pediatric dental residents during their welcome/orientation week. It goes over some topics, such as, local anesthetics, antibiotics, analgesics, etc.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the basic pharmaceutical principles of local anesthetics, including duration of anesthetic action and indications for use.
Upon completion, participants will be able to calculate the total dose of local anesthetic and epinephrine utilized during a procedure.
Upon completion, participants will be familiar with the indications and dosages of antibiotics commonly utilized.
